Wormley and Turnford Big Local (WTBL)

is a community led programme that aims to bring positive, lasting change to the local area. Big Local was established by the Local Trust that selected 150 areas around the country to receive lottery funding over 10-15 years and Wormley and Turnford were chosen as one of these areas.

Do you have an hour or two to spare?

Get involved with Big Local to help shape the future of your neighbourhood.

There are lots of ways to participate – here are just a few of them!

Do you like organising events? – you could help to organise events like the Fun Run.

Would you like to be trained as a Health Walk Leader? – training from Active Herts and then the opportunity to lead walks is available, and this is just one of the ways you could become involved with one of WTBL’s regular community groups in a more official way.

Want to grow your own veg? – join the Community Garden Project at the WTBL allotment.

Do you enjoy writing about your area? – you could contribute to the WTBL newsletter, or write copy for the website.

Do you have an idea of your own? WTBL is a residents-led project and the partnership is always keen to find fresh inspiration from within the local area. Get in touch!….

Please call WTBL on 07903 390649 or email michal@wtbiglocal.org.uk if you would like any more information.
